Idea

Give yourself a theme rather than goals. Themes are broader, directional and allow for more wiggle room, and can't be failed. Such as: this is the winter of reading or the summer of health. They are more easily remembered and actionable than goals. They need to resonate for you.

Use a season rather than a year. Seasons are more natural for humans, and they are more palpable, pushing you more to action.
