Control weight in the morning, target 78kg. When above 80kg, start checking how much you eat. When above 81kg for more than 1w, add counting calories.

Skip breakfast to keep 2 larger, more fulfilling meals. When eating unknown foods look at calories for awareness.

Create a negative balance between intake and output.

Accept hunger as a natural phenomenon, witnessing that this is working.

Reduce sugar and fat intake, favor calorie poor foods. Avoid exceptions like sugar candies and pastries. Prefer fruits and yogurt.

Doing it with someone else was key to the success, being able to sustain each other through periods weakness.

I found that a communication plan with friends and family reinforce both accountability and pride.

Willpower is required and so sleeping well is helpful. Hard when lots of backprocess or worry happening
