Skin glue needs to be replaced or refreshed once in a while to continue adhering to the ski.
Glue can be somewhat re-energized by ironing it through parchment paper. Cut a piece of parchment paper the length of the ski. Clean the glue from contaminants. Iron.
When using liquid glue, start by protecting the skin using paint tape.
Glue can be completed with additional glue. Example: Black Diamond gold label adhesive. Process is to spread the glue, then use parchment paper and iron.
Glue can be replaced, in this case: affix the skin to work bench. Warm up the glue using an iron or a heat gun, then scrape using a spatula. Once the glue is removed, apply new adhesive, like Black Diamond gold label or G3 Glue renew kit.
