Conscious capitalism is a subset of capitalism in which companies adopt a seemingly more ethical approach to production in order to market to ethically sensitive customers. This is only driven by communication and desire to cater to the public though, as is witnessed by the drop in DEI as soon as the country turns more right wing.

Many traditional companies such as Nike or McDonald's are slowly switching to this model.
