Being excellent is being good at a multitude of things. In this sense being excellent is mundane: it requires commitment to improving on all aspects that matter, and differentiation on these aspects, but there is no secret sauce.
There is no secret; there is only the doing of all those little things, each one done correctly, time and again, until excellence in every detail becomes a firmly ingrained habit, an ordinary part of one’s everyday life.
