Define

Default modern lifestyle has people work for 30-40 years, and enjoy free time during retirement at the end. New-rich lifestyle has people spread their retirement throughout their lives. The goal is not to accumulate money, but to have properly formed targets

Priority is continuous cashflow, getting others to work for you. Create options. Get rid of work for work's sake.

Work smarter rather than harder.

Think laterally, find holes in rules.

1. Retirement is the worst case scenario, in case you get incapacitated
2. Energy and interest are cyclic. Alternate between periods of work and recovery. Do mini retirements
3. Less is not laziness. Culture rewards personal sacrifice instead of personal efficiency. Not working on meaningless stuff to free time for the more important is the target. Focus on being productive rather than busy
