5 steps to make landscape photos more interesting

1. Select a subject to capture the attention (eg tree)
2. Layer the photo (eg foreground, background, midground), notably lowering the angle to help increase the importance of the background
3. Composition (keep details along the way), select a left and a right, make sure there's details to occupy the eye along the way
4. Select time of day for lighting
5. Select time of year for colors
