The ski industry is down to where it was 30y ago in number of skiers. Ski resorts are closing throughout the US. This is due to aging of target population, lesser snow, and price. Ski industry is bad at retaining new comers, between 5 and 10% of people try once come again.

Resorts are proposing attractive packages to new skiers to help, and selling multi resort season passes.

However given climate change, it might be a lost cause
